Ignite 360 Announces Return of Rob Volpe as 3rd CEO; Lisa Osborne Departs Ignite 360

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SAN FRANCISCO, FEB 15, 2024

Ignite 360, a consumer insights and marketing strategy firm known for its commitment to elevating human understanding to unlock growth for Fortune 500 brands and businesses, announces that Rob Volpe, founder and chairman, is appointed the 3rd CEO of the company effective February 23. Current CEO Lisa Osborne will be departing the company on that date to pursue an insights leadership opportunity with a nonprofit healthcare organization.

“Lisa has made many contributions in the past 10+ years, first as COO and then in the CEO role, to make Ignite 360 the exceptional company that it is for delivering high-quality research. We’re all going to miss her. Personally, I’m excited for this new path she’s embarking upon,” Volpe commented.

Osborne added, “For over 10 years, I've had the privilege of working alongside the most fantastic group of professionals and people.  What an honor to be a part of so much great thinking, brand-building, brilliant insights excavation and best-in-class storytelling!  I've loved my time in the company of such talented and truly kind people, and I will be forever grateful to have been a part of this special, one-of-a-kind place. I look forward to cheering on Ignite 360 in my new role.”

Under Volpe’s guidance since its founding in 2011, Ignite 360 has gained a reputation as a best-in-class consultancy within the marketing insights community due in part to a relentless focus on empathy-building practices, strategic insights and inspiring storytelling to help business teams gain new and deeper levels of customer understanding.

“I’m excited to be returning to the company although I am deliberately calling myself the 3rd CEO to better reflect where the organization, myself and the industry currently are in terms of business challenges and needs for future success.  From AI to industry-wide economic headwinds and the continuing evolution of human values post-pandemic, the world has changed and Ignite 360 and myself are ready to meet that challenge head on,” Volpe said.

Volpe will also be continuing his work in empathy awareness and skill building through speaking appearances and writing via his company, Empathy Activist. Empathy training will be a collaboration between Empathy Activist and Ignite 360.
