EMPATHY CAMP

Strengthen your team’s empathy muscles to generate better collaboration and decision making in the workplace.

Learn how to develop empathy and apply it on the job.

From team collaboration to decision making, innovation to communication, when deployed effectively, empathy drives some of the biggest business success stories.

Yet studies suggest empathy skills are 40% less than their pre-2001 levels. A recent Ignite 360 study found 1/3 of US adults could not agree with the statement “it’s easy to see the point of view of others with different opinions.”  There’s a good chance some of your colleagues are part of this cohort.  The empathy deficit negatively impacts the bottom line of every company. Regain your empathy equilibrium, learn how to build and apply empathy at work with Ignite 360’s Empathy Camp™.

We’ve designed Empathy Camp to help people develop skills to build and apply cognitive empathy in the workplace. These workshops take a ‘Learn, Practice, Apply’ approach and are tailored to the needs of the individuals attending. Starting with the 5 Steps to Building and Applying Empathy, we use proprietary empathy-building tools to provide practical experience in developing empathy with people outside participants’ usual circles.

  • Step 1:

    Join Empathy Camp™

Learn our proprietary 5 Steps to Building and Applying Empathy. The training teaches participants to access empathy and the benefits of doing so in a Learn, Practice, and Apply approach. The program also helps participants bring awareness to barriers and how to overcome them.

  • Step 2:

    Play Lifeology™

Team members put their Empathy Camp™ training into practice by pairing up one-on-one with consumers for immersive game play, conversation and learning, either virtual or in-person. We then facilitate the team in a debrief and application conversation to complete the experience.

  • Step 3:

    Engage Your Empathy Muscles

Once your team has the skills to build empathy, you put it into practice to develop a consumer-centric organization. The ongoing training and interaction experiences keeps your team's finger on the pulse of the consumer and delivers intuition that can save time and budget on decision making.
