Today we are excited to announce Lisa Osborne as Chief Executive Officer at Ignite 360

We asked Lisa to share her thoughts on the role, the future, and the Ignite 360 team:

Several clients and colleagues have asked me what I'm most looking forward to and what drew me to this opportunity. In my response to these questions and in reflection on my own “why,” I return to the core reason I love the work of consumer insights and its transformative power to make a positive difference in people’s lives.  Of course, insights require action to truly transform a brand or business, but when put into action, the opportunities are incredible. Leading Ignite 360’s continued quest to find and unlock those deeper and meaningful insights, to make the connection between insight and action and to help our clients realize this transformative potential is what most excites me. 


At Ignite 360, we help our clients solve problems.  And, business problems, at their center, are people problems. The potential of human insights to break down barriers and build understanding is a business’s greatest capability. Those who invest in, and harness insight can amplify perspective-taking and create stronger pathways for learning and communication. As insights pros, we bring context, reality, and humanity, the voice of people and human truth, into business decisions. And it’s this human element of our work that I find uniquely rewarding.

It takes a team to make this happen. A team of creative, smart, and tenacious researchers, designers, strategists, and project leaders. In my role as Ignite 360 COO for the past 10 years, I've been lucky enough to work alongside an amazing team.

In that time, our team has evolved, and our work continues to get better and better – we connect the dots of meaning from within and across projects. It’s incredible. Rob's entrepreneurial vision and leadership brought us to this point. I’m grateful for the opportunity he has given me, and appreciative of his openness to change, embracing ideas that will make our company and our client experience even better. I’m thrilled that he will still be here to help guide us as Founder and Board chair.

It’s time to build upon our reputation as empathy leaders and double down on our core strength of research experience and insight identification within depth qualitative and quantitative programs. Our clients require the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ and we are adept at integrating learning across methods. From exploration and discovery to assessment and measurement, we deliver seamless understanding in a way that clearly transmits the story -- the human story. Storytelling will continue to be a cornerstone. I truly believe, and our clients often tell us, that our stories are a signature difference and industry best-in-class. The investment in story craft that goes beyond the usual PowerPoint report will continue as clients seek more effective ways to influence change in their own organizations.  Our curiosity to explore different modes of learning and story delivery will keep us pushing to test and trial new technologies, like AI, to remain on the forefront, find efficiencies and turn those into competitive advantage for our clients.

Prior to joining Ignite 360, I managed teams within large organizations like GfK, General Mills and Starbucks. My client-side experience taught me what insights success looks like for brands. It gives me perspective on how difficult it can be to breakthrough and gain traction on an idea, a new product, or a marketing campaign.  But breakthroughs happen with data, insight, and stories that can inspire new thinking and enable a conviction to act. I also understand the kind of partnership and the level of quality clients need and expect. I'm proud to say we strive to raise the bar on each engagement and, more often than not, we achieve it. The stakes for the brands and businesses we support have never been higher. They need more .... more insight, more understanding, more creativity, agility, and impact.

We aspire to be an extraordinary organization collaborating with incredible clients doing challenging work. This ambition means each day presents a new set of complexities and, while each day may not be easy, it is absolutely worth it.

We know what it takes.

We are poised and ready.

And, I couldn’t be more excited for all that lies ahead.
