Robin has spent her career successfully wearing many design hats – Graphic Designer, Product Designer, Art Director and Creative Director. But it was during her time as a creative team builder that Robin found career inspiration.

After successfully structuring an in-house brand and packaging design team for a San Francisco-based toy company, Robin realized she wanted to know about all the people who are involved in the process of creating and then bringing a toy to a child. She talked to product development as well as marketing and sales teams, taking time to understand everyone’s role and how each contributed to the greater goal of creating a worthy consumer product.

Consciously “designing” creative workflows and truly listening to all team members became a way of life that Robin is now bringing to Ignite 360’s multidisciplinary ensembles.

When Robin isn’t creating infographics (her favorite form of communication) or building schedules (her favorite way of creating inner peace), she can be found in the kitchen mixing up a batch of cookies with chili sugar (her favorite way to surprise people).

Q & A

If you were asked to present at TED talk, what would the title of your talk be?

Perspective is Everything

What is the strangest thing you've ever eaten?

On a recent excursion to Japantown, I chowed down on “Dragon’s Breath” dessert (liquid nitrogen poured over cereal puffs). It was like eating oversized, very cold Trix with a bonus special FX aftertaste. Delicious and FUN!
